FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I use the Goo to Go?
It's really simple. Set the temperature to 55-60 degrees Celsius on your coffee mug warmer and place the Goo to Go on the plate. Fill the Goo to Go slots with your materials and a few minutes later you will have warm materials to work with.
PRO TIP #1: For warming a mirror, so its not too hot, take the Goo to Go off the coffee mug warmer and place on top of the pouched mirror for 1-2 minutes. Your mirror won't be the temperature of the sun and won't be scratched either. Just test it first to make sure its not too hot. Then place your Goo to Go back on the heater.
PRO TIP #2: When using irrigant for your root canals, to protect the irrigant from leaking in your Goo to Go , take a local anaesthetic needle cap and place it over the opening before placing in your Goo to Go. (see photo)
PRO TIP #3: Most composite syringes should fit perfectly well in the Goo to Go. Sometimes
you may encounter one with a cap that won't fit due to its' 'flaps.' An acrylic bur in a straight
handpiece will help reduce the thickness for your syringe to fit into the slot.
At the end of the day clean down the Goo to Go and turn your coffee mug warmer off.
We recommend keeping the Goo to Go away from nurses with cold hands, as it makes an excellent hand warmer and you may never see it again.
How do I clean the Goo to Go?
To clean the Goo to Go use a disinfectant wipe to clean the outside and the base of the Goo to Go. Ensure the composite syringes that you are placing inside the Goo to Go are clean.
Please DO NOT autoclave the Goo to Go.
Can I break my Goo to Go?
The Goo to Go is made with a reinforced material and care should be taken to when handling your Goo to Go. The likelihood of breaking your Goo to Go is slim, but we would recommend you refrain from dropping your Goo to Go or autoclaving it.
Which coffee mug warmer should I get?
The Goo to Go unit requires a coffee mug heater to operate. We would recommened the Cosori heater (link to Amazon UK) as it has specific temperature controls.
Some alternatives that would also work would be here and here, but the temperature control is a range rather than being able to set it like the Cosori.
